Long Beach Unit
Situated
between Ucluelet and Tofino the Long Beach Unit consists of 22 kilometres of
pristine sandy beaches. Visitors enjoy a wide range of activities
including beach combing, surfing, bird watching, and learning about the cultural
heritage of the area. Pacific Rim National Park Beaches include:
Schooner
Beach, Long Beach, Wickaninnish Beach, South Beach, Florencia Beach and Halfmoon
Bay Beach.
Trails of Pacific Rim National Park
Long Beach Unit
Nine walking trails, totaling approximately 12 kilometres, lead visitors through
ancient coastal rainforests with most opening to the remote sandy shoreline. The
trails range in length from 1 k to 3 k and most have stair sections.
