Ocean Mist Guesthouse Safe Practices
We have transitioned to communicable disease prevention and moved away from the focus on Covid-19 alone, outside of instances of elevated risk; as recommended by BC Ministry of Health.
Covid-19 will continue to spread at different levels in our communities. Higher risk settings still include crowded and poorly ventilated public spaces. With easing of public health requirements, personal prevention practices to reduce your risk, remains important.
To ensure the ongoing safety of guests at increased risk and varying comfort levels of guests surrounding Covid-19 exposure; we are continuing with the following risk-reduction measures:
Guest-Shared Entry Hallway
Please limit guests to one room at a time in the guest hallway. |
Safety Signage
Display of safety signage is posted for your information. |
Sanitation
Sanitation of high-touch surfaces
including door handles, cabinet knobs, light switches, remote control, etc. |
No Entry of Guestrooms
Ocean Mist Guesthouse is a self-catering accommodation.
No entry or refreshing of guestrooms will occur during stays.
* On occasion, entry of rooms may be necessary.
For example; Telus technicians may need to assess or repair the digital box for Internet services. We will accompany any service technicians if entry is required. All safety precautions will be taken, such as hand sanitizing and mask-wearing. We will attempt to notify you first and will advise you if entry was made. If you have any discomfort around this happening, please advise us. |
Hosts, Kellyanne & Rod, are fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.
